05. NCT DREAM GO Music Video Review
Everyone's favourite talented group of twelve year olds are BACK, and no, I don't mean the Stranger Things cast. I mean NCT Dream, and I am ready to file a lawsuit. (Okay, literally all of them are over the age of sixteen and a good majority are only a few months younger than me but they're still BABIES.)
For NCT's latest album, NCT 2018, NCT Dream have now joined the ranks alongside NCT U for their come back. Finally, Jaemin is back in my life and I have never been happier. Mark, however, is still trying to catch a breath from his comeback with BOSS which was literally two weeks ago (I wonder if he is he actually an SM favourite, or are they just trying to over work him in an attempt to kill him off? Making way for WinWin, Yuta and Johnny to snatch some lines I see.)
Anyway. Due to their age, NCT Dream previously released music and videos with cute, bubbly concepts, which were adorable and which I supported, however it was mostly music I wouldn't choose to go out and listen to if it was any body other than NCT. (Somehow over time I have managed to convince myself that Chewing Gum is an absolute banger, even though it sounds like something Jisung probably wrote on a children's Peppa Pig keyboard whilst trapped in the SM Dungeon as Taeyong cheered him on.)

I should have known that NCT Dream would make me feel the need to go and visit Jesus personally just from the trailers. I should have known from the strange and provocative stares and weird screaming noises. Damn, I should have known as soon as they all shot up about a foot and actually went through puberty that SM would pull something like this. I. Should. Have. Known.
First of all, I'd like to know what Satanic cult they joined in order to glow up so fast, and whether or not I would qualify for said cult. They have grown so much and I am jealous of their youthful beauty and talent.
Second of all, I'd like to point out that GO is actually really good! Of course, as we are discovering SM doesn't believe that NCT can sing anywhere between a whisper or a yell on their choruses, I did have some issues with parts of the song. However, compared to their previous comebacks, they have (as expected) matured so much, not just in their faces and heights but in their concept, styling, choreography and sound.
This edgy, street styled, coolly lit, energetic choreography and BMX stunt inclusive art piece of a music video has proceeded to excite me EVEN further for the unreleased videos due from NCT, and I hope NCT Dream get to develop on this new image they have created in some of the releases to come.
The only downfall of this MV is that they didn't invite Lucas in to have his moment of NCT Dream glory. Evil, I tell you. Also the amount of silver clothing? Blinding.
